On Saturday 18th November 2017 the South Hants Model Railway Club host their latest annual Portsmouth Model Railway Exhibition at the Admiral Lord Nelson School on Dundas Lane between 10:30 and 16:30. Not only is this the longest running model railway show in the area, but it is rapidly gaining a national reputation as an exhibition that shows the very best of this fascinating hobby.
This year’s exhibition
This year we will again have a selection of top class working layouts in a variety of scales plus demonstrators to ‘show you how’. Indeed this year promises to be one of the best. Additionally we have around a dozen traders selling not only ready to use locomotives, rolling stock and track but also items for the beginner and advanced modeller alike, such as figures, books, road vehicles, tools, and kits for you to build your own locomotives, wagons, coaches and track.
