Model Railway Developments

Model Railway Developments uses new methods and technologies to provide better models which are easier to build, and build well. The range is for 4mm scale components (00, EM and P4), and for 7mm scale narrow gauge
Modelstock - ABS
Modelstock is the new home of the ABS kits and accessory ranges which were acquired in 2020 after the very sad passing away of Adrian Swain. Adrian was an excellent model maker and caster, and his kits and accessory packs have always been popular.
We shall be reintroducing as many of the kits and accessory packs as is viable and also introducing some new vehicles which Adrian had been working on which never got to market owing to his declining health. It is also planned to facelift all of the original kit instruction sheets in both printed and electronic form, improving the exploded drawings and assembly information using modern CAD and publishing tools.
A website is under construction which will include a webshop where all the currently available kits and accessories can be purchased online and posted to you.

C&L Finescale
C&L Finescale have supported modellers for over 30 years with arrange of Flexi Tracks and easy
build point kits in both 4mm and 7mm scales to suit the modellers needs. New product lines are
being added, copperclad strip, timber sleepers, 4 and 7mm kits and RTR from Dapol, Peco and
Slaters. We also offer the Carrs range of solders, fluxes and chemical blacking.
Dingo Servo Mounts
Dingo Servo Mounts manufacture and supply precision aluminium mounts for 9g servos
(HK15178, SG90, etc) which offer completely linear motion for the control of points (Turnouts) and
semaphore signals. All mounts are locally produced and supplied in kit form. All kits will work in
scales from “Z” to “G”. We also supply a larger mount for use in garden railways.

London Road Models has been designing and manufacturing 4mm etched kits since 1988. Since then, LRM has grown to provide one of the largest ranges of kits for the 4mm modeller. The emphasis is on ther Victorian and Edwardian pre-grouping period, although the prototypes for many models in the rangelasted into the post grouping era of the 193s with many examples surviving into BR ownership.
